Kae Lani Kennedy is the Social Media Director for Matador Network. Specializing in media distribution, she has conceptualized strategies that, within a year, nearly doubled Matador Network's audience. Her social media management and engagement style earned Matador Network a Skiftie for being the Most Effective Brand in Social Media for 2015. She also works as a travel writer and photographer, and is currently documenting squatter communities around the world in a series called "Adverse Possession". The project has inspired another projected called "Forgotten Main Streets" which explores entrepreneurship in lower socio-economic regions. Kae Lani grew up outside of Philadelphia in South Jersey. She went to Rowan University and studied Marketing. During her semester abroad in Germany she kept a blog to keep in touch with friends and family. It was from her travel blog that she developed a passion for travel writing and photography. By working in social media, Kae Lani has been able to take her skills in marketing and combine them with her passion for storytelling. Kae Lani feels as though her purpose in this world is to share empowering stories with people. Solo traveling, squatter communities, and entrepreneurship are all very empowering subjects to discuss -- and working in social media just allows her to bring those stories to larger audiences who will find them valuable. © Copyright Initiate Advancement Legal Solutions | Terms & Conditions | Privacy Policy
